【Inasayama】Sightseeing spots in Nagasaki

Introduction to Inasayama

In 2021, Inasayama was selected as one of the “New Three Great Night Views of the World,” alongside Monaco and Shanghai, at the Night View Summit organized by the General Incorporated Association Night View Tourism Convention & Bureau, highlighting Nagasaki’s night view.
From the summit, which is 333 meters high, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire city in 360 degrees. On clear days, you can also see as far as Unzen-Amakusa and the Goto Islands. Additionally, Nagasaki’s night view, often praised as being worth a million dollars, is renowned as a prime viewing spot.
Access to the observatory is a quick 5-minute ride by ropeway, where inside the station, you can find a variety of souvenirs including keychains, ballpoint pens, and postcards, as well as original goods exclusive to the Nagasaki Ropeway.
